This simple but striking design will introduce you to many of the stitches which are key to creating these beautiful techniques. Full instruction is provided on the following: silk shading, needlepainting and shaded turkey rug stitch to create the Koala, creative coloured metal thread stitches including s-ing, chipping and cutwork to create the tree trunk and leaves, shaded blackwork using colour for the background and stumpwork embroidery including 3D wired embroidery and thread wrapped wires to create the leaves, flower buds and stems.

This kit includes all of the threads, fabrics, materials and needles required to complete this beautiful hand embroidery design and the clear instruction booklet with step by step photographs will guide you easily through your project.

 

Materials included in the kit: linen fabric printed with the background design, cotton calico fabric printed with the leaves, crewel wools, stranded cotton threads, embroidery needles, coloured metal threads and wire.
